Academic Symposium: A review of talent and creativity at WSU
As part of its inauguration celebration, Wayne State will host a symposium to showcase how a great research university nurtures academic talent. The program will be organized around brief presentations demonstrating the many forms of talent and scholarship at Wayne State. It will be followed by a panel and open discussion about how we can enhance the work we do, as well as our role in carrying the University’s good name throughout the region, the state, the country and the world.

Students from the College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts present a program of music, dance, and film to celebrate the installation of Allan Gilmour as 11th President of Wayne State University. Wayne State gives students a chance to explore, develop and share their creative work. These students wish to congratulate President Gilmour and thank him for his support of the arts and his leadership of this great institution.
